The Plasencia family has a long history in the premium tobacco business. Since their founding by Don Eduardo Plasencia in Vuelta Abajo, Cuba in 1865 they have become the largest grower of premium tobacco in the world. For over 150 years they have produced cigars for some of the most recognizable brands in the industry, including Rocky Patel, Alec Bradley, Gurkha.
The Alma Del Fuego features Nicaraguan tobacco from the island of Ometepe paired with a sun-grown wrapper from the Jalapa Valley. The result is a medium to full bodied cigar that yields flavors of coffee and dried fruit with a finish that has a subtle sweetness.
