CloseThe Seeker Pinot Noir is a thoughtfully crafted French Pinot Noir built around delicacy, balance, and pure fruit expression. Produced by The Seeker Wine, this wine sources Pinot Noir grapes from two high-altitude regions of France—Puy de Dôme and the Méditerranée—with vineyards located near the 45th parallel and vines ranging from 15 to 40 years old.
Hot days and cool nights in these elevated sites encourage slow, even ripening, lending the wine finesse and freshness reminiscent of classic Burgundy, while remaining outside the AOC system. Master Blender Jean-Pierre Rodet selected from hundreds of lots to find the ideal fruit for this bottling, prioritizing purity and texture.
The grapes are fully destemmed before undergoing an extended cold maceration at 43–46°F for 5–7 days, an uncommon step for a non-AOC wine, designed to gently extract delicate fruit character. Fermentation takes place in open-top vessels over 15–20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation and maturation on light lees in tank. The absence of oak preserves the wine’s bright, fruity profile and silky mouthfeel.
In the glass, The Seeker Pinot Noir offers aromas and flavors of sweet cherry, red berries, earth, and subtle spice. The palate is smooth and supple, with balanced acidity, fine ripe tannins, and a long, polished finish that highlights Pinot Noir’s natural elegance.
Exceptionally food-friendly, this Pinot Noir pairs beautifully with pasta, pizza, barbecue, or casual meals on the go. A polished, approachable French Pinot Noir that delivers finesse, texture, and everyday versatility.
