BLACKENED M81 is a collaboration between Jonathan Drew, Founder and President of Drew Estate; James Hetfield, Metallica co-founder, singer and guitarist; and Rob Dietrich, the Master Distiller and Blender of BLACKENED American Whiskey.
The blend is composed of all maduro tobaccos beginning with a dark and oily wrapper from the San Andrès valley of Mexico. Next comes a rich Broadleaf maduro binder from the Connecticut River Valley over Broadleaf maduro fillers from Nicaragua and Pennsylvania. The result is a rich and bold smoke that features notes of espresso, cocoa, and leather.
